Almost all of the announced Q4 2006 games for the Nintendo DS have release dates except for Hotel Dusk: Room 215. Similar to Cing’s previous title, Trace Memory, Hotel Dusk is a graphic adventure game with a clever pencil sketching style. The game is played by holding the DS like a book where one screen shows the perspective of Kyle Hyde and the other screen is used as a map. During conversations each character gets their own screen with a black and white portrait. Hotel Dusk: Room 215 takes place in Los Angeles where Kyle is out searching for a lost friend. The few clues he has leads him to an old hotel room that is rumored to grant wishes.
That looks great. I’m definately going to buy this title once it gets released in Europe.
I wish they would get Myst and Riven on the DS…
Uh, i don’t think that myst and riven would “work” on DS, I’ve recently played through myst on PSP and it definetly needs a large screen to be an enjoyable experience, and as we all know, that’s the Achilles heel of DS. Too bad!
I’ve been anticipating this title ’since it was announced at E3.
From their website:
“CING Inc. is an entertainment contents creating company focusing on games.
“CING” is a coinage describing an image of CREATOR(s) who are engaged in CREATION of fascinating CONTENTS and continue offering COZY environments to people by using COMPUTER(s).
“Curiosity” and “Eagerness to Challenge” are the utmost priority for CING. CING promises to keep creating new works and offering surprises and inspirations to all the players.”

Great promise, but i’m afraid of the length of the game, I’ve played through Trace Memory in 3 hours and thats real bad from a 50$ investment. Any chance of a decent and soon European release?
