AtomWario Ware Smooth Moves gets a North American release date
Nintendo updated its press site today to announce that the first Nintendo Wii commercials will be airing during adult swim, ABC, NBC, MTV and a special 2 minute film with all four commercials will be on Sucker Free. Sure that’s cool, but Nintendo also quietly put up the release date for Wario Ware Smooth Moves. Wario Ware is a hallmark Wii title that displays how the Wii controller can be used in so many ways. In each microgame the Wii controller becomes different objects and a lot of ideas went into the game. Fortunately, Wii owners don’t have to wait long for Wario Ware to come out the North American release date is January 17, 2007 and the game is rated E10+ for crude humor/cartoon violence.

Mario Galaxy still has an ominous TBA release date, so don’t expect it anytime soon. Mario Strikers Charged is likely to be the first Mario game coming to the Wii.

Bonus! It would have been an excellent launch title, but I think I will quite busy with “Twilight Princess” for a while anyway. Now when is “Mario Galaxy” coming again?
