Wii scalper tries to pawn his system at the Wii launch party

By Spencer . November 19, 2006 . 6:01am

While waiting in the ridiculously long line to purchase a Wii one happy owner walked up and down the line trying to sell his console for $750. Most of the people that he was trying to sell the console to were getting a console, eventually. The line snaked around to the second floor of Universal Studios where the seller kept trying to find a customer. Previously he sold his PS3 outside of the store he camped at for the $3,200 and was hoping to make quick cash from the Wii. Instead he had no buyers. Two hours later it was around 3:45 AM and the guy drove back to Universal Citywalk trying to sell the Wii again for a cheaper price. He said that eBay prices were dropping and he had to sell the console ASAP. Justice?

Haha, wii is more fun, and it's alot easier to get seeing as how nintendo is giving america the short end of the rope. Plus many if the wii fans there a far to smart than to pay more than twice the value they could buy it at

In my opinion, it's usually the poor people who don't have jobs standing outside needing to make some quick cash by selling these consoles to the rich people who don't want to stand out in the cold and who can afford it.
