Dragon Shadow Spell doesn’t reinvent the wheel when it comes to the genre. It uses the same isometric battlefield with different height levels like most S-RPGs and turn based combat. So what separates Dragon Shadow Spell? Matrix gear, equipment which can change the tide of battle. Wear the right gear and you’ll be able to unleash a super powerful attack. Maybe Dragon Shadow Spell isn’t as gripping as other PS2 games, but strategy RPG fans might want to give it a look when it comes out in Japan on January 18, 2007.
