Playstation 3 virtual console games pricedSony announced that they would be bringing PS1 games on the Playstation 3 to download and the first batch comes out on November 22. The price for downloading games is fairly cheap, only 525 yen ($4.50) to play Tekken 2. Also coming out on the same day is a system update for the PSP where you can stream games from the PS3 to the PSP. Other new features for the PSP include a UMD auto start option where you can automatically load the game in the PSP instead of having to go to the menu first and support for the upcoming camera.

Here is the list of the first games coming out for the system. Anything worth $4.50?

Konami MSX collection 1

Konami MSX collection 2

Jumping Flash

Arc of the Lad

Minna no Golf 2 (Hot Shots Golf 2)

Silent Bomber

Tekken 2

Resident Evil: Directors Cut

$4.50 isnt very cheap considering the games in that list are only 1 disk games, once they start bringing out multi disk games for download it will probably end up as 4.50 per disk.
Is it really worth $18 to download an emulated copy of FF9? i think it should be more like $2.50 per disk.

Jumping Flash is pretty good. Specially good deal since you can’t play it on a PS2.

snake: Moot point. Multi-disc PS1 games didn’t cost more than monodisc PS1 games, and the same is likely to hold here.
