There is an error in your posting. The modification shown is the DVD drive firmware hack. It allows you to play games backed up to DVD+R DL. It does not bypass any region protection though. If your game is region-locked, it will not play , no matter what you try. The modification shown in this video will not help you play region-protected imports.
