Blue Dragon’s airship shooting mini game

There is more to Blue Dragon than meets the eye. In one of the early Blue Dragon trailers there was a clip of Shu in an airship battle. Instead of watching a video players are going to pilot Shu’s airship, the Mechat, and fight back. While Shu is flying you man the turrets in an on rails shoot ‘em up mini game.

Shu also has some tricks while walking on the field. He can throw bombs to stun monsters and avoid fights. He can also turn invisible to sneak past groups of enemies. The last trick shown is Shu summoning an energy field to plow down groups of enemies. See a video of Shu’s field tricks past the break.
