AtomCyberConnect2 makes a post time skip Naruto game
Usually around this time of the year CyberConnect2 releases a new installment of the Naruto: Narultimate Hero (Naruto: Ultimate Ninja) series in Japan. This year the only Naruto fighting game coming out is Naruto: Shinobi Retsudan, for the DS and its made by Tomy. What has CyberConnect2 been doing besides making .hack sequels? They’ve been working on Naruto Shippuuden: Narultimate Accel (Naruto Hurricane Chronicles: Narultimate Accel) for the Playstation 2. It’s a brand new Naruto fighting game with a “grown up” Naruto past the time skip. It is also coming out around the same time as the new manga series in the first quarter of 2007. LeafNinja has additional details about the manga switch and the end of filler anime episodes all coming in the next few months.

thats because all the people wanted to torture the viewrs, it was funny as hell. i like the manga more anyway, but its still sweet that the anime is gonna follow the true storyline, and that a timeskip game is coming. i cant wait

filler episodes…they make me sad…and i watch them everytime…why? i have no clue…but they do make me remember the good times before the filler. anyways, with this adult version of game play for naruto, i wonder if i’ll be able to fight chibi characters with their older selves?

Hallelujah, Naruto is so much better when he’s older. Less “Dattebayo!” = Good thing! Also, Shikamaru is a pimp Jounin.

sasuke is the 1 who is pimpin alll the girls execept for hinata, Nruto is so dumb he dont even know hinata like him but all sasuke have to do is smile at any girl and thier on his jock

Um… Ok… but yeah, this game looks amazing. The only thing that I think would make this game better is to have Sasori in his human form (the kid with the red hair) comapred to some dumb random scorpian emo puppet. That isn’t Sasori, so don’t say it is. And it is nice that this game will be out sometime in 2008-2009 (in the US.) I have been waiting for this ever since Ultimate Ninja 2. And the nice thing is, when this game comes out, I can wait for the sequal, which is a heck of a lot cooler.

Isn’t it around this time that TOMY releases a new GNT for Gamecube? I suppose because of the filler episodes, and maybe the Wii, that they didn’t do it this year. But I’m glad to hear filler episodes are ending! Although I’ve heard that rumor many times, it’s never come true… :(
