Wario Ware: Smooth Moves gameplay in motion

By Spencer . December 6, 2006 . 7:22am

Since Wario Ware: Smooth Moves doesnt come out for another month I took two videos of the game so you guys can get a better sense of the game. The first video is Warios scenario and it is the first scenario that you play. All of his games are the shomen style where you hold the Wii remote like a remote. Most of the microgames are controlled by pointing at the screen, but some such as the jump rope game have players move the Wii remote around.

I thought the Nintendo fans might want to see what 9-Volt and 18-Volts stage is like so I took a video of that too. Similar to the other Wario Ware games his are based on old Nintendo titles. In the Animal Crossing game you hold the remote like a fishing rod and pull the remote up to catch the fish. In the Ocarina of Time microgame you lift up the master sword by pulling the remote up. In later levels Link morphs into an old man and at the most difficult level Link becomes a chicken. At the end of the video is the Star Fox battle stage, which was difficult to record and play at the same time since the sensor bar was hooked high above my computer monitor, but hopefully its good enough for you guys to get a sense of what the game is like. Enjoy!

Nice videos, particularly the second one. Looks like they’re using some of the power of the Wii for the GC minigames. The Pikmin and Windwaker games look great on there. Makes me hope even more for a Wii Pikmin game. 3d balloon rider? Nice. Haha! And the Starfox one was priceless! Rob with a Zapper!

So, That’s Why The In-Between Parts Of 9-Volt’s Level Is Lacking Much Classic Nintendo Refrences..

Like ‘Touched’ And ‘Twisted’, WarioWare Is A Good Title To Show Just What You Can Do With What The System..

I love the Wario Ware games, this will be great. And incorporating other Nintendo things, pure genius.
