Wii launch pictures from around the world

This past weekend the Wii launched in Europe and Australia, last week it launched in Japan and before that the Wii came to North America. See some photos from happy Wii owners around the world

Japan - at Yodobashi Camera store in Akihabara, Japan gamers pick up their Wiis

 

 

 

USA / Los Angeles party – After two days of waiting Jonathan Mann gets the first system given to him by George Harrison

 

 

 

USA / NYC party – Isaiah Johnson is the first customer in line to purchase a Wii and it is autographed by Reggie Fils-Aime

Wahahahah Look at those Japanese people lining up. I saw on television that for the release of the DS there was a 8 h queue or longer, and those people kept waiting. It was so funny to see on my tv :D
