Donkey Kong Country on Japan’s Virtual Console

While Japan got a strong initial line up for the Wii Virtual Console only one out of the three new games released today are new. Donkey Kong Country (aka Super Donkey Kong) is online for the price of 800 points. Rare’s Donkey Kong platformer was one of the best games on the Super NES and it looked great since the graphics were pre-rendered. The other two games are Wario’s Woods and Mario Brothers, which you’re probably done with. Also interesting to note is that the Virtual Console schedule isn’t consistent with new titles coming out every Monday. Tomorrow another game is going to be added to the list. I’m guessing it is going to be Alien Crush since we just got that in the USA yesterday.
