Lumines II’s signature track, “Heavenly Star” now on iTunes

By Spencer . December 14, 2006 . 4:31pm

For Lumines II Q Entertainment formed the Genki Rockets and produced “Heavenly Star” specifically for the sequel. Now they’re distributing the song to the masses via iTunes. If this is successful maybe we will see the Lumines soundtracks online in the future. Also Heavenly Star is coming to Lumines Live for the Xbox 360. In January 2007 a Heavenly Star pack will be released so you can hear the song in 5.1 surround sound. No price has been determined for the pack yet and no other songs have been announced as part of the package. Here’s a suggestion, if it’s a single song why not give it out for free? That would tide things over after the microtransaction woes that Lumines Live has faced since its release.

Jeff Says:

It felt weird buying this on iTunes. This is typically the kind of song that’s distributed free on a website. IMO it should have been, but oh well, I did buy it after all.

PSPFanBoy.Com Had A Little ZIP File That Included The Song And Video For Your PSP.. For Free..

But The Song In Full 5.1 Surround Sound? hmm.. I’d Buy It..
