AtomGears of War sells two million copies
In only six weeks Gears of War managed to sell two million copies worldwide. That makes Gears the fastest selling Xbox exclusive game of all time. Besides making money on software sales Gears of War has increased the number of people who signed on to Xbox Live. Since the game’s launch paid registrations per day have increased over 50 percent. More than a million gamers have logged on to play Gears online and there have been ten million matches. A game that sells millions of copies, systems and Xbox Live memberships is the huge cash cow the Xbox 360 needs until Halo 3 comes out next year.

many people are excited for HALO 3 to come out soon, because it’s been a long wait for gamers to play MASTER CHIEF again. but just wait…when GEARS OF WAR 2 comes out…the real debate of which shooter is the “BEST”, will be the most talk-about subject for quite sometime—oh, yeah, that’s right!!!!!

although both GEARS OF WAR and HALO 3 are in the same console, it’s kind of weird people are comparing each game to one another. imagine MARCUS FENIX and MASTER CHIEF go head-to head someday in a dream or fantasy match–is that possible?
