Sega working on Dino King for the DS

After the huge success of Love Berry, Sega has another portable card game in the works. Like Love Berry, Dino King begun in the arcades and it is a dinosaur battling game. You don’t really “fight” in Dino King, you just select one of three attacks and watch the battle play out. Dino King is really a variation of rocks-paper-scissors, except that you can power up each of your three moves by scanning in cards into the machine. Every time you start a game you’re given a card. It could be a new dinosaur with more life or a holographic special attack card, but more likely it’s a move you already have in your deck. I’m not too crazy about these kinds of games because there really isn’t much to do besides earning ultimate cards by chance. But they’re huge now and if Love Berry is an indicator, Dino King is going to be another success for Sega.
