When the game comes out for the U.S. it’s going to be different. They’re re-doing the game. Remember, this game game out in 2005 for Japan, but now it’s coming out February 15, 2008 for the U.S. So, they’re going to make it better. It says that there will be more characters, stages, and specials for the characters. So, it’s going to be a better game.

You can get Gaara by beating story mode in hard difficulty. To switch the difficulty level do this:

The main screen has four options
Story Mode
Free Battle Mode
Wireless Battle Mode
Options (it’s the fourth choice, pick this)

Then the second option (middle one) lets you pick the difficulty

In that menu select the second option to switch the game into hard.

i’m a die hard Naruto fan and i’m not disappointed with it. the game has a few issues but its not that bad, i agree with yagami, the game has potential

it was pretty obvious this was going to be a bad game
i mean cmon look at it
sure some things look nice about it
but most of the naruto games that are for nintendo suck if you think about it
the gamecube one was ok but every sequel had tiny upgrades

I really had high hopes for this game. I hesitated getting it because Naruto Portable (PSP) let me down, with its dry and repetitive story mode and ad-hoc only multiplayer. Since the DS’ network play is usually pretty good, like you, I thought this game would be a lot like the Gamecube version. Thanks for the review — now I know to stay away from this game.
