Christmas Nights was one of the best surprises for Sega Saturn owners. Not just because NiGHTS was an awesome game, but because Christmas NiGHTS was its own little holiday tale. Games like this are just a reminder of how far Sonic Team has fallen. It’s almost hard to believe that in the past any title developed by them were just about guaranteed to be an instant success, with NiGHTS being the first clear example that they could develop an original title outside the Sonic universe.
No doubt, a truly great nostalgic trip through memory lane.
