Lemmings now on the DS

Since Sony owns the Lemmings property from buying Psygnosis, Lemmings on the DS is something that shouldn’t be. However, a crafty programmer made rewrote the game for the DS in C++. Lemmings DS is based off of the Amiga version and it uses the touch screen instead of the cumbersome analog stick configuration in the PSP release. There is also an open source level editor so people can make there own Lemmings challenges. If you want to play Lemmings DS you’re going to need a flash card, but if you have one try it out.

    To bad we couldn’t get a real DS version. This would be the best gaming system to get a brand new fresh Lemmings title, even better than PC (Touch Screen > Mouse).

    C++? Cool. The thing is, that’s what I do for a living — software engineering, aka programming — and my non-programmer friends think that just because you know a language (C,C++, Java, etc.), that it’s simple to make a game w/graphics. I wish….

    okay i have a question people…i have a flash card now how do i use that to get it onto my ds…PLEASE tell me if you know because i remember playing it like 6-8 years ago on the super nintendo and i forgot about it…but just the other day my computer teacher showed us that its on the internet (to play google “online lemmings” then click on the “DHTML” one at the top) so if anyone has the answer or any comments please e-mail me (spudboy_13@hotmail.com) and put “LEMMINGS” as the subject so i dont just click junk mail…please get back to me as fast as possible…thankyou…im excited that i might get it for ds…(lemmings is a one in a million game) for those of you have tried it…spread the sickness of being addicted to lemmings to all of your friends…
