One thing I've got to know: with all these racing games putting their emphasis on realism, when are they going to allow us to race from behind the dashboard like in the old days of Test Drive, Need for Speed, and Indycar Racing on the PC? With today's 1080i/p displays capable of pushing more pixels than the average computer monitor, why couldn't they spare some extra screen real-estate to display the dashboard? They could, theoretically, remove all the artificial HUD elements except the lap-timer and position indicator - and heck, they probably could do away with those as well, and stick them into an in-dashboard computer (like the real-world GPS displays that you can mount).
