There is a clear tie in to Seiken Densetsu 3, but I don't think its a huge deal. I bet there are plenty of happy DS owners that never touched it in Japan, but are still getting Heroes of Mana. And as much as I want Seiken Densetsu 3 to come over it doesn't seem likely at this point even for the Virtual Console. It would require an extensive amount of text writing to get the game on there and I can't imagine that being profitable. There’s some praise for Lost Magic here, maybe I should give a second glance. I hope they take care not to let something like that happen in Heroes of Mana. If this game really links to SD3, then I think Square should find some way to make the game avaliable in the US market. Sure, we can easily play the translated ROM, but I'd still like to see something official. Perhaps a DS port or a Virtual Console release?
