Genius or useless? Introducing the Wii Sports pack

Besides extra remotes and skins we have haven’t seen too many Wii remote accessories. Core Gamer enters the marketplace with the Wii Sports pack. These are essentially remote holders that are shaped like a tennis racket, baseball bat and golf club. You can find these at your local electronics store for around $30. Even though these are expensive we’re probably going to see more Wii casings soon. Perhaps a sword for Dragon Quest Swords? Or a frying pan for Cooking Mama?

Heh, I dunno if I would buy them, but they’re fun looking little add-ons. I totally want one for DQSwords, hehehe

To be entirely honest it sounds as if someone has invented a more efficient way to break things with your Wii. Sometimes people do spaz out, and with a huge plastic doo-dad you both decrease their previous margin for error and increase their destructive power.

The bigger the controller, the bigger the damage.

Wii Tennis + Wii Sports pack Accessories = 4 Broken noses

Seems like a nice gesture but ultimately useless gadget, especially at that price. Even at a cheaper price I couldn’t see myself purchasing that for the aformentioned reasons above. It’s not as if these add-ons are necessary to get the full enjoyment out of Wii Sports, the Wiimote is perfectly capable by itself.

If you want to look as ridiculous as possible, then go ahead and buy them.

My sister got this for my brother for his birthday and it does not work. It blocks the sensor on the front of the remote. Steer clear of it!
