It's a good start, but considering the price, not really worth a purchase. SOR 1 was good for its time and all, but the sequel blows it out of the water by improving on every single aspect presented in the original, almost to the point where SOR 1 seems obsolete in comparison. Now that I think about the wonderful co-op play of beat-em-ups like the SOR series, it really makes me wish Nintendo would go the extra mile to include online play for titles that already supported multiplayer with a friend at homes. It's great to see classic and overlooked titles get a second chance on the market thanks to Nintendo's VC but considering XBLA releases are getting their own exclusive content, that's the least they can do. Bonanza Bros. in particular would benefit from such a feature. Not much fun by yourself in single-player, but a blast with a pal.

Finally, after all the wait, we finally see a Streets of Rage title get released in America, courtesy of the Virtual Console. I loved that game when I first played it back in '93. It played like a shooter, but there was more of a strategic element since it moved so much slower than games like MERCS.

Hey, Gain Ground. Ladies and gentlemen, I present the title that is responsible for the renaming of the Biohazard games to Resident Evil out side of Japan. Once again, Capcom pays for it's cheapness by having to remake a new title screen every time a new Biohazard title comes out. If only they would have paid up to be able to use the name, they could have save themselves a lot of trouble and programing fees.

Ah yes, Bio-Hazard Battle.
