Square-Enix bringing Chocobo to Mahou no Ehon to the USA

In December Square-Enix released Chocobo to Mahou no Ehon in Japan. It’s a 3D DS game starring their Final Fantasy mascot in mini games where you climb up beanstalks, dodge Malboros and fight using cards. One of the more creative aspects of the game is the magical pop up storybook setting which perfectly suits the paper cutout cards during combat. We’ve learned that Square-Enix is indeed bringing Chocob to Mahou no Ehon to America under a new name, Final Fantasy Fables Chocobo Tales. A release date has not been announced, but we’ll keep you posted on when you can pick up the game in the near future.
