In the Wii Naruto fighting game players can use motion controls to charge the rasengan. Early reports say that by rotating the remote control you can charge up Naruto’s chakra to unleash an attack. There are four other characters besides Naruto who are confirmed in the game, see screenshots of them in their post time skip threads past the break.

Kakashi Says:

Is this a Japanese game? If so, all the more reason for me to buy the console in Japan later this year.

Veilknight Says:

On Siliconera’s home page, under “Read More,” the game’s listed in Japan only, so this is definitely a Japanese title. Seems pretty unlikely we’ll see this import localized for the Wii in America anytime soon, unfortunately. The game’s setting is far beyond that of the current dub’s storyline on Toonami, and there’s still been no mention of whether or not Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 (which will of course be renamed Clash of Ninja 3) is getting a Gamecube release in the States.

Spencer Says:

Thanks for clearing that up VeilKnight. As of now Naruto Shippuden: Geiktou Ninja Taisen EX is for Japan only.

Ruroni Otaku Says:

@ Veilknight: Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 is Ur US “Clash of the Ninja 2″ since the first one was an adaptation of NGNT2.
If U get a “Clash of Ninja 3″, it will be the occidental version of NGNT4 which was released in November 2005 and includes the “3 man team” fighting mode + a bunch of Otto no Kuni Ninjas, Orochimaru’s dudes… like Kimimaro for instance, which totally ROCKS in the game if U ask me…
Btw, ya’ll should try the Shinobi Retsuden, the DS version of this awesome series. A really neat pocket version of this awesome series.
Peace.

Ruroni Otaku Says:

can’t wait for the F-Wii-loader to get the EX here in Europe as soon as it’s out ;)
