The price has calmed down a bit, but this is still ridiculous. Somehow I doubt Blizzard released the Burning Crusade Collector's Edition in limited quantities, considering there's plenty of auctions as it is for this one title alone. In this modern age, "Collector's Edition" usually boils down to getting extra content and merchandise at a higher price, not that its limited in numbers.

You can chalk this one up to the hype surrounding Burning Crusade even before its release. Let's face it, anything that has the World of Warcraft name on it usually goes for a pretty penny.

I sold four of them a week and a half ago. One went for $275 (Buy It Now, even though there were plenty of ones that were cheaper and mine wasn't even on the first page), one for $252, and two for $200.
