Watch: Kenshin sword fights on the PS2

Last year Banpresto released Rurouni Kenshin: Enjou! Kyoto Rinne in Japan. I played a little bit of it and it’s a cross between Dynasty Warriors and Bushido Blade. There are times when you’re fighting defenseless troops and you can quickly cut them down to size with basic attacks. However, during boss fights you have to use some skill, some dodge rolling and the Ryu Sou Sen to win matches. The video below shows Kenshin in battle, but you can also play as Saitoh, Sano and Aoshi.

I don’t remember half those characters; feels like it was ages ago.

looks like fun, though repetitive. is the camera control decent? the one in dynasty warriors drives me crazy at times, so I’m noping it’s not too similar.

Too bad the game didn’t go into the Jinchuu arc :(

That would have been awesome, since the second OVA kinda screwed us on that

I would cry tears of joy if a Wii Kenshin game ever got made and actually found its way out of Japan.

Though I will say, I would settle for this game in a heart beat as well. Subbed preferably…

I can’t stand Japanese Kenshin’s voice
(puts on flame suit for dub haters)
