The person in the car with him is Nanako not Misae. I have the game. And in the show that's also Nanako.

I'm sensing a strong vibe from Kid Chameleon from this latest Shin-Chan title, with the whole gameplay concept of wearing different outfits to transverse from level to level.

As a matter of fact, Kid Chameleon was a long but forgotten Genesis title that's overdue for a re-release on Nintendo's Virtual Console. Now that's definitely a title which will benefit from a port (thanks to the VC's option of saving games before shutting off the console, the original had no option for saving or even a password feature), as its almost impossible to beat the game in one sitting because of all the different stages to get through.

At the very least, Shin-Chan DS is actually the first title from the franchise that I'm willing to import once its released; along with Wario: Master of Disguise using a similar concept of donning different outfits these two games can be considered "spiritual" successors to Kid Chameleon.
