First Quarter Wii release schedule has Mario Kart and Sonic

Nintendo updated their first quarter release schedule with twelve games on the list. There are some key titles like Wii Play, Sonic and the Secret Rings and The Godfather: Blackhand edition that are coming out in the next few months. However, Mario Party 8 got pushed back and Cooking Mama, which was supposedly coming out in March also didn’t make the cut. Besides these games Nintendo is adding still adding virtual console titles and next week North America gets Mario Kart 64! Are there any Wii games on the list that interest you? SSX Blur is the one that I’m most interested in right now.

The only games that interest me on this list is Wii Play and Sonic and the Secret Rings. Wii Play should make for a fun party game and Sonic simply to find out if this latest installment in the franchise actually turns out to be a quality release, or if it follows in the footsteps of the disappointing Sonic the Hedgehog for the PS3/Xbox 360.
