This is advertising, how Sony promotes the PS3 in Europe

In Europe Sony went with the documerical approach explaining the PS3 hardware. The European ad has a girl speed stacking while a female voice explains the power of the cell processor. How does this clip stand up against the crying baby ads aired in the USA or the two second clip of Final Fantasy XIII in Japan? Are any of these ads convincing you to buy a PS3? Or are you more likely to buy a speed stacks competition cup set?

    "This is Poor Marketing", is what the Sony UK ad should say, as opposed to "This is Living". I think I'd rather have the drug-induced campaigns we got here in the states than that....at least you remember ours, if for nothing else than for the "wtf!?" factor.

    I Find The Japan Ads The Ones That Really Don't Convince Me To Buy A PS3..

    I Know Japan Ads Are 15 Seconds, But Other Ads Out Ther Make Good Use Of Thir Time, But The PS3 Ads Are Just Too Simple And Show Nothing Much To Tell You About The PS3.
    Kinda Sounds Similar To Something Else?

    Now To The Big Fight: PLAYING B3YOND In The White PS3 Room Where Anything (surreal) Goes Or 'Living' With The PlayStation Bloodstream/DNA And Real-World Scenarios..

    One Gives 'WTF' Moments On TV, But Intrests You On What It Is And Gets You To Find Out More Through Nicely-Done Examples Of What This Machine Can Do And The Other Seems To Be Straight Forward With Examples And Not As Bizzare..

    Once The Whole Series Of Ads Come Out (checking out the uk.playstation.com/ps3 site, which takes on the ps3 room, shows that we have some more ads to go through..), I Think That's When I'll Really Nail Down My Decision On The Best And Worse (and for many, the worse and worser)..

    That european ad really sucks. Who the hell is interested in the processor itself? They probably think the processor alone is entertaining and no one needs any games. The US ad is much better, though it doesn't really tell much about the console or its games...
