Lumines Live bonus content packs rock

This past Wednesday Microsoft released three bonus packs for Lumines Live and if you have the game you have to get at least two of them. The Heavenly Star pack is free to gold members and it adds in an extra song with full motion video in the background. It’s the same song found in Lumines II, made by the Genki Rockets specifically for the game. The other pack you’ve got to pick up is the Vs. CPU content package. It adds in the versus CPU mode so you can practice before you log online for Xbox Live play. It also has a bunch of new avatars and ten extra skins if you conquer the computer. For an extra $1.20 you’re paying a total of 12 cents per extra skin. The other pack, the puzzle/mission mode package, is probably not as essential unless you enjoy stacking the colored blocks in complex combinations. I was playing a little Lumines Live over the weekend and I was surprised that some people haven’t even gotten the Heavenly Star upgrade, get it it’s free!
