It’s official, Hudson’s Wii titles coming the USA

Hudson’s parent company Konami showcased Wing Island and Kororinpa, now called Kororinpa: Marble Mania, at their 2007 Gamers Day event. Both games are supposed to come out sometime in March 2007. In related Konami news Lost in Blue 2 is also scheduled for a March release.

I knew it was only a matter of time before both titles got announced for a US release. Probably for the best that they weren’t released during the Wii’s launch in the States too, because both titles would have definitely got overlooked by Twilight Princess and Wii Sports. The hype surrounding those titles is still tremendous even now.

We all know that happened with Wing Island in Japan, its poor sales in the land of the rising sun is proof enough. At a much later release date, there’s a higher chance more gamers may be interested in actually picking these two games up at their launch and adding them to their collections.
