Koei not giving up on the Dynasty Warriors series yet

It might have seemed like Koei was going to discontinue making Shin Sangoku Musou (Dynasty Warriors) games since Gundam Musou is in the works, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. In March, the same month that Gundam Musou comes out for the PS3, Koei is going to release Musou Orochi a mash up between Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors. In the screenshots below there are team ups between characters from both series, but besides that the gameplay is the same as Dynasty Warriors. As of now it’s only coming out for the Playstation 2 and it might be the final farewell for the series on the PS2.
