The producer that made Elebits has his next project, an original game titled Dewy’s Adventure. In the game you control a water drop by tilting and twisting the remote to move the world around him. Players can also control the temperature of the world to turn Dewey into ice or make him steam, which changes how he fights. In one screenshot when the temperature is hot and Dewy is in mist form he can Dewy can unleash a lightning bolt by waving the remote. Another motion controlled special power Dewy has is making gusts of wind by waving the remote quickly.

I’m keeping my eye on this one. I’m always interested in new and original platformers.
With so many recent Wii announcements being for ports of last-gen games with tacked on Wiimote controls, Dewey’s Adventure is exactly the title I’ve been looking for. And to think, this is coming straight from the creator of Elebits, which I consider to be the best launch title that made use of the Wii’s unique control scheme.
I’m really digging the graphical style too. That really gives this game a style all its own with its bright, colorful screenshots with plenty of diversity going around, judging from the different level environments.
With those two aforementioned titles, Konami is set to become the developer outside of Nintendo themselves that may end up making the best use of the Wiimote.

This looks like an original game. I like the fact Nintendo is coming out with “DIFFERENT” types of games. Keep up the good work!
