This week on Xbox Live Arcade: Root Beer Tapper

Xbox Live Wednesdays kick off with a new game after a few weeks of absence. This week were going to see Root Beer Tapper, an arcade classic that has been updated to support “high definition”. No this isn’t a remake, it’s the same pixilated classic you remember for 400 MS Points. Some of you might recall that the original Tapper game had a bartender serving beer and there was a huge Budweiser logo in the background. Also coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace are two themes and a pack of character icons with the characters from Small Arms.

I couldn't really imagine myself playing Root Beer Tapper at the comfort of my home. Its unfortunate that most arcades (the few one's that are still out there) no longer carry the arcade cabinet, as this is one title that deserves to be played at the arcades to get the full experience.

Let's face it, the 360's controller isn't a suitable replacement for controlling many classic games; naturally, it certainly can't replicate using the keg-tap controller.
