European PS3 owners get Casino Royale for free

When Sony released the Playstation 3 in North America they threw in Talladega Nights as a freebie, Europe gets the new Bond movie, Casino Royale. If you’re in Europe and you want a free copy of the 1080P Blu-ray disc you need to be one of the first 500,000 people who purchase a PS3 and register it on the Playstation Network. Potential problem though, if you’re in Oceania you’re going to have a head start to register your Playstation 3 compared to London who will pick up their Playstation 3s a full twelve hours later.

JAT Says:

Given the fact that the PS3 costs >800$ in Europe, this doesn’t sound that great IMHO.

On the other hand, games in Europe cost 40-60€, so we are used to getting ripped off…
