There was this show that is being referred to in the blog, then there was the Sonic the Hedgehog show that aired on ABC Saturday mornings, also with the same voices for Sonic and Tails. The one that came on weekdays was really goofy from what I remember, then the Saturday show was a more serious, adventure-type show. These shows aired in the same season I think and the artwork on both shows was different from each other also. Perhaps Sega was trying to milk out the franchise as much as possible before it sank?

Sonic was strange when it first aired.
