AtomUnlocking Blue Dragon’s “new game plus”
Microsoft is giving Blue Dragon some extra replay value with a strong new game download distributed over on Xbox Live tomorrow. When players download this they unlock the super hard chip item, which lets players start the game from their beginning with all of their stats (think new game plus). There are also two new difficulty levels in Blue Dragon, “Super” and “Hard”. The extra content is being released free of charge. The price is fair, but why didn’t Mistwalker just include this with the game in the first place?

That’s pretty cool of Mistwalker to release this free of charge on the Xbox Live Marketplace, where other developers simply would have saw this as a chance to make a quick buck by charging for some downloads.
