Sony’s mecha SRPG: Armodyne

Front Mission isn’t the only sci-fi mecha strategy RPG, there is Super Robot Taisen and now Armodyne from Sony’s Japan Studio. Armodyne’s gameplay is split into two parts. You’ve got your regular grid based tactical strategy RPG system where you guide ranged sniper mechs and bomber mechs to crush the opposition. However, when you’re not fighting you’re playing the role of an administrator. You have to train your pilots and manage their life in the dorms. Interested?
