While we’re waiting for our copy of Naruto Shippuden Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX (Lunar New Year shipping delays) check out these clips from the Wii game. They’re a little blurry, but you can see that the graphics and gameplay have not deviated too much from the Gekitou Ninja Taisen / Clash of Ninja series you’re used to. Characters do have new move sets, Sakura teleports a lot more and has a new motion controlled special attack.
See more fights past the break.
Temari vs. Sakura
Neji vs. Rock Lee
Itachi vs. Kisame
Deidara vs. Gaara
hmmm, i wonder if you can use the gamecube controller, and if so how would those motion controlled supers work?
either way it looks pretty cool, man deidara’s bombs look cheap if you can’t block them
The latest issue of Nintendo Power says it is coming to america this year, so hopefully you won’t need freeloader.
No. What Nintendo Power means is that Naruto Clash of Ninja 3 is coming out on the Wii. If you haven’t heard, Tomy are porting GNT 3 from the Gamecube over onto the Wii for the English release of CON 3.
This game won’t come out in English for a damn long while as this is now Shippuden coverage. The English version isn’t near this far yet.
Something missing in these videos… if you block ANY string, you get free damage. There is no block stun in the game. If you are blocking, and the opponent starts to do a string, you get free damage.
this game looks awesome but actually i think it would be better if it was in japanese with english subs because they sound so much cooler

Looks sweet, hope the special moves’ remote rotating wouldn’t be too tiring, makes me yearn for a Jpn Wii or a freeloader. Busou Renkin game should be done in the same vain..
