It might be a week late but Alien Hominid HD is worth it. The Xbox 360 version has sixteen levels and bonuses previously only found in the European release like the “All You Can Eat” mini game. The PDA mini game is also packed in Alien Hominid and has online support. Alien Hominid is being sold this Wednesday for 800 points.

I love the graphical style of Alien Hominid. The art reminds me of an interactive cartoon, and is definitely one of the most polished flash games I’ve played in quite awhile. Meanwhile, the chaotic gameplay itself reminds me of the zany and bizarre sense of humor presented in Invader Zim.
Anyone who loves a good run-n-gun in a similar vain to the Metal Slug series should definitely try this title out, whether its through this latest XBLA download set for release this Wednesday or playing it online for free through Newgrounds. If you can track it down (not too difficult to do) or prefer to hold in your hands a hard copy of the game, grabbing either the GC or PS2 version would be a worthy purchase to add to your collection as well.
