Watch: The Darkness gameplay footage

Straight from the floor of NYC Comic Con the Students of the Strange pick up video of the comic book inspired Darkness game. The Darkness is a first person shooter where you play as Jackie Estacado, a hitman, who is possessed by the darkness, which gives Jackie supernatural powers. The gameplay clip shows him using dark tentacles to attack foes and summoning darklings to attack. Starbreeze already bucked the trend of making a shoveled licensed game with the Chronicles of Riddick and it looks like they might do it again with the Darkness.
