From March 30-April 1st the Hyatt Regency in Anaheim is going to be the home of a BYOC (bring your own computer) LAN party sponsored by Buy.com. At the event players can enter tournaments for the following games for $25 per person. Here are what games players can enter tournaments for:
Counter-Strike 1.6
Gears of War
Counter-Strike: Source
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Rainbow Six: Vegas
Street Fighter: Third Strike
Dead or Alive 4
Project Gotham Racing 3
Virtua Fighter 5
Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection
Besides having tournaments there are going to be prizes for people who rock out on stage with Guitar Hero 2, show their moves in Dance Dance Revolution and a “Pimp My Rig” contest. No prizes have been announced, but the event has a sizable list of supporters with Nvidia, ATI and Intel as the big players.
