Watch: Monster Kingdom’s beautiful trailer

There is a lack of RPGs on the Playstation 3, but Sony isn’t ignoring the genre. They have Monster Kingdom: Unknown Realms in the works and the graphics look amazing. It’s a follow up to Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner, which was just released by Atlus on the PSP. If the teaser trailer is any indication of the gameplay, Monster Kingdom on the PS3 appears to be more action oriented than the PSP game. The art style changed too, instead of the manga -like characters in the PSP game, Monster Kingdom: Unknown Realms has a “dark fantasy” look. It’s a neat touch, with a twisted nature feel. Someone reminiscent of a darker version of Kameo: Elements of Power.
