Believe it or not, I still have Art of Fighting for the Super NES (Yes, I STILL have that system) and really enjoyed it. Once it comes, I'm gettin' my hands on it! :)

I can't complain. At least we're finally getting one of SNK's Neo-Geo fighting compilations, where before it was only an option as an import. AoF Anthology may be the weaker of these collections (which is no fault to SNK's efforts at all; its just that these games haven't aged as gracefully as their later fighters) but it's certainly a step in the right direction. This is simply speculation, but if this sells well enough they have no excuse not to bring over the other titles in the Neo-Geo Online Collection.

What I wonder is why this and not, say, King of Fighters Orochi or the Bakumatsu Rouman pack? I mean, the Art of Fighting games are kind of dated and I can't imagine them having a greater following then KoF (indeed, anybody who is an AoF fan is a KoF fan but I doubt the reverse is true!)

Sony should get more laid back on what they will allow on the PS2 as well, now that most of their focus is on the PS3, although there's still God of War II to look forward to from them. I would especially like to see both Fatal Fury Battle Archives released in the West. More in part, volume 2 so I can get my hands on all of the Real Bout games. RB 2 never did receive a home release on any console up until this PS2 port, actually.
