Saku00 - I didn't ask about the European release... but if I had to guess Microsoft might be publishing it in the EU too. It's going to be handled like Tenchu Z and if Tenchu Z gets announced its a safe bet that Project Sylpheed will appear.

I'm stoked to hear that this game is finally coming out in the US. Although it isn't a shump, its more of a "next generation Wing Commander" (the real Wing Commander, not that Armada-inspired XBLA game coming from EA). Expect cut scenes galore.

Now that I think about it, I do remember reading a story on Kotaku about Ubisoft taking up the helm to publish Senko no Ronde. After a quick search on their website, turns out it was true:

http://kotaku.com/gaming/ubisoft/ubisoft-bringing-senko-no-ronde-for-360-over-233588.php

For now, this is simply only a rumor, but I wouldn't put it past Ubisoft to be the ones to do so. In that case, its only a matter of time before they confirm this fighter/shump hybrid themselves.

Wasn't Senko no Ronde confirmed for U.S. release already and Ubisoft was going to publish it here? I remember reading about that somewhere.

I'm left with mixed reactions when it comes to Project Sylpheed. Usually for shump releases, especially those few that actually get announced for the US, I'm a lot more excited but Square-Enix's influence worries me. I just hope the cinematic scenes and the storyline doesn't get in the way of the action. Really, any cutscenes should be left for the game's opening and ending. If I sit down and play a shooter, the focus for me is what's happening on screen, not why I'm up against an enemy force.

However, along with Raiden IV, its still pleasant to see a shump released in the States in this day and age. Considering this is for the 360 is also something to nice, as most recent shooters are being released on either the Dreamcast or PS2. Now, all we need next is confirmation for G. Rev's Senko no Ronde to seal the deal.
