Awesome, why can’t they make a 2-D Kenshin or Busou Renkin fighting game like that. The announcer is actually the narrator for Hokuto no Ken show, Chiba Shigeru, his other omre famous roles are Raditz in DBZ and Kuwabara in Yu Yu Hakusho, has a very special voice when he’s excited :)

We NEED more games like this. Its almost a fact that 2D fighters reign supreme!
Yes 3D fighters like Tekken and Virtual Fighter have a place, but the REAL skills come from playing 2D fighting games, like this.

Another plus for me is that from what I’ve read, the game captures the burning intensity of the series perfectly through its presentation. Being a big fan of the Hokuto no Ken series, that’s a pleasant surprise, as most licensed games don’t really go the extra mile to be faithful to its source material.
