Art from tri Aces Xbox 360 project: Infinite Undiscovery

By Spencer . March 21, 2007 . 10:36am

Tri Ace, the developers of Star Ocean and more recently Radiata Stories, is teaming up with Microsoft to bring another RPG to the Xbox 360. Details on Infinite Undiscovery are scarce except that it’s in a fantasy world and the graphics are supposed to be done in real time. The concept art looks really good though and if it has an action based combat system like Star Ocean: Till the End of Time Infinite Undiscovery could be a huge addition to the Xbox 360’s RPG line up.

looks like some hectic fighting, more like Shining Force Exa than the next Star Ocean. I’ll reserve my judgment until the first trailer comes out.

Looks lame I don’t like the grapics… but if I see/hear more about this it might be the 3rd game i’m looking for in order to buy a 360.

It’s a bit too convoluted to tell what the heck is going on, but who knows? It might rock. Eventually.

I think it’s too soon to tell. Tri Ace does make some good games, so heres hoping.

All of you guys are right, it’s too soon to tell, but since it’s in development I thought you might like to know what Tri Ace has been up to. They’ve been real quiet after Radiata.

It surprises me how little has been discussed about this game since it debuted back in September of last year.

Here are a couple of magazine scans discussing the title:

The Japanese title makes me laugh more than the English version:
『インフィニット アンディスカバリー』.

Aoshi00 Says:

The screen shots look nice, it seems that the game play will be real-time again according to the articles. Good things just keep coming for the 360 don’t they, I dig this since I like Star Ocean 3.
