E3 had a demo, and Namco Bandai did release some games tha went to the Skypiea arc and had Techs from Water7, so it is not Unrealistic for them to release it in North America.

I mean, 4kids is no longer doing one Piece and the game looks more like Acid Trip fighting against past characters rather then playing through the story of the manga/anime. Most developers don’t seen to have a problem with spoiling characters if they don’t spoil the story too much.

Then again, One Piece ain’t too hot in the US94kids )

They really did a nice job with this one, opting for a more realistic or painted look than cel-shaded. The character animations are especially well thought out. I’m excited.

Not so sure it will come out in the U.S.
The dubbing company has stopped production on One Piece (which is a good thing, because the US dub was baaaaaad, even worse than Fighting For). Since U.S. dub has stopped, hope has not.
Years ago when Round the Land was released for PS2, it was about to come out in the U.S. before OP was licensed because it was a decent game.
So there is a chance this will come to the U.S. if it doesn’t suck. It was at E3 last year on the floor where people got to be Luffy and fish and other stuff. This was before fighting was revealed. Plus it has been mentioned in Nintendo Power a bit. (I say someone contact Nintendo!)

Basically.
We can HOPE it comes out in the U.S. with DIFFERENT dub voices, but more importantly, a Japanese audio track as well.

But yes, this does look like one solid game.

this game looks great, compared to all the other one piece games out there!
it better get published or the gaming world will prove to be a pretty shallow industry.
