Sega has a surprise addition to their Sega Ages line up, their mech fighting game Virtual On. You might remember Virtual On if you went to the arcades and saw the two player cabinets separated by a translucent black screen with handles to move around your mechs. Virtual On isn’t complicated and deep like Armored Core, it’s a fast paced. You run around in circles firing lasers and close in with quick hits of a blocky sword, but the whole experience is a blast. Now if Sega released a Virtual On controller with the PS2 remake or online play like the Saturn game that used Sega Net it would be a must buy.
Sounds good! I hope the control scheme on the Dual Shock sticks is intuitive.
Now there’s am Arcade game SEGA should port to Wii as a Virtual Console of ST-V or as a Virtual Game Application. Two motion control Sticks (Remote and Nunchuck) with 4 action button (A, B, C, Z). Add 2 Player Split screen and 2 player via Nintendo Wi-Fi and you got the best $10 you could ever spend on the Wii.
This game is the one reason why I keep my dreamcast. I took forever to find a controller in Japan but I finally found 2. One saturn and one Dreamcast. Definetly one of the best games ever and really hasn’t been ousted as the king of mech games. Armored Core controls like ass compared to VOn
So when we gonna get Virtual on 4force in the states ;)?
“This game is the one reason why I keep my dreamcast.”
That’s interesting, since the version being ported to S-A is the original (VO:OM), not the DC version (VO:OT).

We already know about VO for Sega Ages. The question is when the Japanese release date?
