Dragon’s Lair and other laserdisc games heading to Blu-ray

Digital Leisure announced that they are working on bringing the 1983 laserdisc arcade game, Dragon’s Lair into HD. The Blu-ray release has been digitally restored frame by frame to give Dirk’s adventure a fresh coat of paint in 1080p. The soundtrack has also been enhanced with a new 5.1 surround sound mix. Dragon’s Lair might look better, but it’s the same dodge the dragon’s fire or face instant death game you love or hate, rewritten in the Blu-ray java environment. After the release of Dragon’s Lair Digital Leisure plans to release Space Ace and Dragon’s Lair II: Time Warp on Blu-ray.
