There's alot of things on Target's website that are not sold in their stores (such as 750 pound, $6000 stand up arcade units) so I would look at this as simply some cross marketing with another online player that would give Target a commission on any sales. I can't see this making it into their stores, given the already fairly tight shelf space for video games hardware...but online, that limitiation doesn't exist, so why not put it up and see if they get any sales.
